My sweet husband got me a Kindle Fire for Christmas... I LOVE it!
We didn't get a case however because I couldn't find any I liked and they're prices are crazy for what they are. So from leftover scraps of the quilt I made for my daughter, I made this handy little case/cover. Used a vinyl padded placemat from the dollar store to line it for a little cushion to protect it better. Total cost $1.00 (cost of placemat) Not bad if I say so myself.

Using the placemat is such a clever idea! That case is much prettier than any you could buy.
That is great! I am so going to be trying to use a placemat for padding. I need to make something like that for a laptop that I just got!
